About the series

The Golden Power Series is a karting racing series held throughout regional Victoria and is organised by Karting Victoria and it associated clubs.

In 2021 the clubs that host a rounds of the Golden Power Series include Rochester Kart Club, Goulburn Valley Kart Club, Eastern Lions Kart Club, Albury-Wodonga Kart Club, Bendigo Kart Club and the Gippsland Go-Kart Club.

Since its inception in 2008 the Golden Power Series has attracted on average 200+ competitors per round making it one of the most popular and successful karting series regularly held in Australia.

From Cadets to Juniors to Seniors and Masters there is sure to be a class to suit you.

Competitors

Entries are open to all KA licence holders, including from outside Victoria.  The series has had regularly competitors from South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania. 

*Due to the COVID pandemic competitors from specific parts of Australia may not be able to enter Victoria, please check the latest Government restrictions.

Race Format

Practice – 3 sessions of 6 minutes
Qualifying – 1 standalone qualifying sesssion of 6 minutes

Racing – 3 heats and a final. Final determines final round result and trophy recipients for the round.

Supp Regs

All event Supplementary Regulations can be accessed via the Karting Victoria Supp Regs page. Supp Regs are usually released 1 to 2 months prior to the meeting.

Entries

Entries for each round usually close the Sunday night prior to the event.
*Please check event Supp Regs for confirmation of entry close. No late entries can be accepted.
*Entries open usually upon release of Supp Regs

Spectators

Spectators are usually welcome to Golden Power Series events, however due to the COVID pandemic it is always best to check with the club for their latest restriction status regarding spectators. Karting Australia has setup COVID regulations and at a minimum require QR checkin upon entry.

Parking
Parking is usually available at designated car park spots at our kart clubs.

Canteen 
Our Kart clubs canteen are fully catered so be sure to grab a bite to eat and pull of a chair, bench, seat in a stand or spot on the grass to take in all of the exciting racing action.
