The last Club Day of winter August Club Day was held at 8 Victorian kart clubs at the weekend including the Oakleigh, Warrnambool, Geelong, Goulburn Valley, Gippsland, Go-Kart Club of Victoria, Albury-Wodonga and Eastern Lions Kart Clubs.
With the Go-Kart Club of Victoria hosting the final Round of the Australian Kart Championships the following weekend many interstate competitors made the trip for the Club Day for some valuable practice before the big meeting.
The Albury-Wodonga Kart Club also labelled their Club Day as the Pro Tour Shake down / August Club Day and ran some of the Rotax classes ahead of their Rotax Pro Tour meeting later in September.
As we head out of the cold of winter and into the warmer months, hopefully some more pleasant and ideal racing conditions will be upon us and we hope to see karters support their local clubs by heading to the track and running at Club Day over the coming months.
